Sona Mohapatra Hits Out At Those Justifying Arnab Goswami Being Denied Bail: ‘You’re No Different From Fascists; 2 Wrongs Don’t Make A Right’
On November 4, Republic TV editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami was arrested by the Mumbai Police and as per reports the cops entered Arnab’s home and arrested him in connection to an old abetment to suicide case that was registered in 2018. The arrest was reportedly made after police in Raigad reopened a case related to the death of interior designer Anvay Naik and his mother Kumud Naik at their home in Alibag in May 2018. Recently, Arnab Goswami’s bail plea was denied, after which Sona Mohapatra hit out at people who are justifying this.

On Monday, the Bombay High Court rejected the plea of Arnab Goswami for interim bail.  Since Arnab Goswami’s arrest, a  lot of people have been airing their views on the same, and now Sona Mohapatra has slammed those justifying Arnab being denied bail. She wrote that such people are no different from fascists and that they are endorsing political vendetta. Sona wrote that two wrongs do not make a right.

Sona Mohapatra’s tweet read, “All those people smacking their lips, justifying #ArnabGoswami being denied bail & being housed in a jail inhabited by terrorists & underworld goons, please know that you are no different from ‘fascists’. You endorse ‘political vendetta’. That’s sick, 2 wrongs don’t make a right.” Check out her tweet below:


Sona Mohapatra’s fans were divided and while many supported Sona Mohapatra’s opinion, a few also differed with it.
